Pokeno Wheels and Heels

The Winstone Aggregates Pokeno Wheels and Heels Cycle Challenge takes place on Sunday March 11th 2012

All the challenges are based around Pokeno School & the surrounding area. The main start for the 70km Pro Challenge is in Pokeno Village  opposite the Truck Stop. The 32km Recreational Challenge will start from the Helenslee Rd outside school. Prize giving will take place at the school at the end of the event.

Event Management

Blair Johnston, Principal of Pokeno School is the overall Event Director.

Craig Bush of ExcellentEvents NZ Ltd is the event manager, responsible for all registrations and pre-event administration and communications.
All registration administration  for the event will take place at the Reception area at  Pokeno School, 54 Pokeno Rd, Pokeno. This centre will be open from 7.30am on the morning of the event.

* Event packs with ride numbers and timing tags must be collected from Reception between the above time  
* Late entries will be accepted at Reception
* All minor spot prizes available at the Reception Centre after the event.

Course Director
The Cycle Challenge On Course Director is Denne Parkinson
He is responsible for the start procedures and all course elements of the event.
